Mission Statement
Médical Innovation Développement intends to provide its customers with innovative products and high quality service.
Médical Innovation Développement designs, manufactures and retails MIDBAND™ (an adjustable gastric band), MIDSOND (calibration probe) and MIDAIG (Huber needles).
Research and innovation are central to the corporate culture of to Médical Innovation Développement. We encourage, fund and support ongoing research and development projects. Our objective is to provide the most efficient possible response to our customers needs.
Quality Policy
The objective of the quality policy is to satisfy the patients and professionals throughout the phases of design, manufacturing and commercialisation of products.
This policy requires implementation of quality procedures in order to be able to guarantee that the devices we make available can meet their specifications with the maximum level of security and comfort.
To achieve that, our quality system is based on NF EN ISO 13485 version 2003 and 2004 certification in compliance with RIM (Canada). |

Establishments
The Médical Innovation Développement Company is based in Limonest (France).
In France, the Company is one of the major producers of adjustable gastric bands.
The continuous growth of the company permitted Medical Innovation Developpement Company to achieve sales in Europe and over three continents.
Company History
- 1999 : Creation of the Médical innovation Développement Company
- 2000 : The first version of MIDBAND™ released on the market
- 2003 : Beginning of international sales
- 2005 : A new version of MIDBAND™, upgraded to improve the safety and ease of use of MIDBAND™
- 2007 : Increase of R&D investments
